Configuring Boxee Advanced

The Boxee Advanced remote control provides additional status information and control. However, you need to configure Boxee to allow Unified Remote to control Boxee. By default Unified Remote Server is configured to control Boxee running on the same computer. It is however possible to control a different computer by changing the "host" setting for the remote in the server manager.

1. Make sure Boxee is running on your computer.
2. Click the "Settings" icon.
3. Click "Network".
4. Choose “Servers” in the menu. 
5. Make sure “Enable webserver” is selected and that the “Web server port” is set to 8800.
