Installing Unified Remote Server with the service on Windows

The default installation of Unified Remote Server only works on the Windows login screen when the computer is locked or waking from standby.

The default installation of does not allow mouse and keyboard control on the Windows login screen on boot. To enable this functionality you must install Unified Remote Server with the "Service" feature enabled. Note that this feature is still experimental and may have some bugs.

  1. Download the latest version of Unified Remote Server
  2. Run the installation setup
  3. On the "Select Components" step, make sure "Windows Service" is enabled.
